Speculum Bivalve type vaginal speculum medium size in polished stainless steel. Two bills joined by a sliding screw locking mechanism in the handle allowing the bils to be locked open. The upper bill has an extention handle enabling it to be opened when in situ and to be locked in the open position with a screw lock. This standard pattern instrument was largely phased out when modern fibre-optic instruments came into vogue in mid 70’s.
