Know your garden - a Seniors Month Event

Posted 15th Jun 2017

Join local horticulturalist Geoff Miers at a Seniors Month Q&A event and afternoon tea. Learn about the history of gardens and plants in Alice Springs and Central Australia – what plants were first here, what the first gardens would have looked like, and how this has changed to what is in Alice Springs today. This exciting event also includes afternoon tea, a free tour of the National Pioneer Women’s Hall of Fame and Old Alice Springs Gaol, and a take home native sapling for your garden! This event is proudly supported by the Northern Territory Government.

Spaces are limited. RSVP before Friday 28 July by contacting us on 8952 9006 or operations@pioneerwomen.com.au
